Romano`s Italian Restaurant in St. Augustine

I just picked up a large Cheese Pizza cheese, cooked exactly to my liking, had great flavor, the sauce and cheese was cooked just right and the bottom underneath and crest surrounding was cooked perfect had a nice crunch, can't be happier... thank you

Disappointing! Visited 6 months ago and the chicken marsala was wonderful. Came back this time and it was bland. Asked the hostess what had changed. Different cook was all she said. The hostess, bartender, and 1 of 2 servers did not wear face masks. Our server did. On the way out the hostess said, "sorry". We are sorry that we went there and will NOT be going back!

The meatball pizza is good, and the italian sub is ok. The caprese was lacking effort. How difficult is a caprese? Cut the cheese and tomatoes, drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar and some basil and just a little salt. What i got was cheese and tomatoes which looked like it sat in the fridge for a few days. No salt, olive oil, no vinegar, just water from the tomatoes on the bottom. So bland! ... I had to add salt just to taste something! $13 : (I also ordered garlic knots and again no garlic, no olive oil just marinara. So basically just round pizza crust. A lot of potential here if you could get the little things right.

Practicing social distance as best as possible pizza is good except the big green leafy in sauce crust and chz are excellent... sometimes a long wait on hold too place order otherwise good pizza

The only individual in the whole establishment wearing a mask was the cashier. In a time when keeping each other safe should be of utmost importance, and when food establishments should be taking EVERY precaution to keep their staff and customers safe, this is incredibly irresponsible and downright unsafe. We are seeing an incredible spike of COVID cases in this state and it is flippant behavior such as this that is responsible.

The food and the atmosphere were very good. This is one of my favorite restaurants.

I don't know much about good or bad Italian food, but from a party of 10 with rather eclectic tastes, there was not a single complaint. On top of that...not a one ordered the "usual" of pizza or spaghetti. So....given that, I'd give it high marks. The service was professional and as far as table service, I might use linen rather that paper napkins. Seems to be a neighborhood type restaurant and they usually know what's good. Go! Try it! Then write your review😉

OK Italian food, under no circumstances order anything not Italian on the menu, just awful.

Love the pizza. Nice thin crispy crust. The closest to a NY slice. Being from The Bronx, it’s a welcomed treat. Would be 5 stars, but they just changed their hours (again) lol used toOpen at 11, now it’s everyday at 3. If I wanna order some slices, or a pie, for lunch (especially cause my Kids love pizza) I can’t. Which means the money I would have spent here, doesn’t get spent, or goes to something else :( still love this place though! Highly recommend! Better then the “famous” pizza downtown.

We love Italian food and I am from NYC so was looking for a great place to eat. We were amazed by the fresh food and excellent service. There was a server who needs to be wow for knowing the menu and the specials I think her name is Tessa. She made us feel like home in Brooklyn but with a southern accent. Can't wait to return!

So for about $13 I get around a 6" Philly cheese steak. Labeled steak sandwich and a handful of Fry's. It wasn't terrible, but also nothing I'd recommend.

Fantastic! Very home-y and cozy. Claire, our waitress was SO NICE and the best! Thank you Claire!! Food was amazing and the drinks were buy one get one free! Like what!?! We would totally come back!!

The ladies at the take out window are awesome.. my order got messed up and they gave me the mess up pizza and baking me the one I wanted and throwing in a dessert. Woww great customer service. I ordered the white clam add mushrooms and onions and I absolutely love it!!

The pizza we received tonight was disgusting. The crust tasted like cardboard and was not cooked well at all. There was hardly any sauce. We were told to try this place because they were a small business and not a chain restaurant. I will never spend my money here again. Totally not worth the extra money they charge.

Excellent appetizers and entrees. Very delicious food. Our server was very good and attentive as well. We'll be back again soon. Thank you Romano's!

The pizza was not like what I have heard it to be. It was flavorful but the crist was not done. I asked for well done. Probably an off night

Best place for homemade fettuccine. Pizzas are good. We enjoy going on the restaurant side if we just want to relax and take our time eating with a glass of wine .

Outstanding, delicious Pizza. Taste just like NY pizza. Excellent service but they are a little over priced. $11.00 for a small house salad. $12.00 for a sausage sub. $12.00 for a small pizza.$2.75 for any soft drink. And your right arm for a meal for 4.Ask for Skyler. 😊
